La Petite Ceinture était une ligne de chemin de fer parisienne qui, depuis 1852, reliait circulairement les principales gares parisiennes en passant par la périphérie de la ville.

Depuis 1934, cette Petite Ceinture a poursuivi son parcours désormais oublié jusqu'au Paris d'aujourd'hui où, en dépit de son abandon, une nouvelle génération d'explorateurs urbains a continué à sillonner ses tunnels, traverser ses ponts et s'égarer dans ses labyrinthes. Chaque courbe de ses voies offre à chacun d'entre eux une vue totalement différente de la ville des lumières.

In 2008, le photographe Alexander JE Bradley, séduit par ce Paris oublié, a suivi ces voies et s'est épris de ses bras d'acier. En avril 2009, la Petite Ceinture a fait l'objet de la première exposition publique d'Alexander à la Third Floor Gallery à Fitzroy, Australie.

The Chemin de fer de Petite Ceinture (Little Belt Railway) was a Parisian railway line that from 1852 forged a circular connection between Paris' main railway stations around the outer rim of the city.

Since 1934 it has laid a forgotten pathway through present day Paris where in its abandon a new generation of urban explorers through the tunnels, the bridges and the jungles has grown. Each bend in the track presents its discoverer with a wholly different view of the city of lights.

In 2008 photographer Alexander JE Bradley walked the track succumbing to this forgotten Paris and fell in love with it’s arms of steel. In April 2009 The Petite Ceinture became Alexander’s first public exhibition at the Third Floor Gallery in Fitzroy, AU
